Welcome to Parent and Family Weekend!

Get ready for a weekend packed with Blue & Gold pride, family fun, and Philly adventures—welcome to Parent and Family Weekend 2025! From Friday, September 26 to Sunday, September 28, 20th and Olney will come alive with activities designed to bring students and families together and give everyone a taste of La 91Ö±²¥ life. Whether you’re sharing a meal with President Allen, cheering on our sports teams, enjoying movie night on the Quad, or exploring the sights and flavors of Philadelphia, there’s something for everyone. Mark your calendars and make lasting memories together this fall! 

Parent and Family Weekend Registration

All families must pre-register for any event that serves food they plan to attend (as denoted by * below). You can do this through the events calendar in the

On-Site Check-in & Registration 

Check in, register, and get information for an event at these times and locations: 

  • Friday, September 26: 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Treetops Café
  • Saturday, September 27: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Union Lobby 
  • Sunday, September 28: Noon to 2 p.m. in the Union Lobby 

Residence Hall Access
You can get expedited visitor registration to your student’s residence hall from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 26, through Sunday, September 28. Minor children are welcome with their parents. Be sure to register all visitors with your student at a Parent and Family Weekend Registration Table.

On-Campus Events 

Friday, September 26: Evening Welcome

  • *Dinner in Treetops: Enjoy a meal with your student. ($10 Special Family Weekend Rate and free for children age 8 and under; students can use their meal plan.)
    • 91Ö±²¥: Perogies, Philly cheesesteaks, chicken fajita tacos, Frito pie (vegan chili), chicken cacciatore, pizza, cheese tortellini, Cajun cheddar burger, nuggets, chicken sandwich, and beef hotdogs.
  • Women’s Field Hockey: Atlantic 10 rival University of Richmond visits the at 4 p.m.
  • *Humpty’s Dumplings Food Truck: Grab a delicious bite from 7-9 p.m. (FREE)
  • Lilo & Stitch Live-Action Movie: Relax and watch a movie on Hansen Quad from 7-9 p.m. (Rain location: Dan Rodden Theatre) – A limited supply of La 91Ö±²¥ blankets will be given away to families on a first come, first served basis. May also BYO chair or blanket. (FREE)

Saturday, September 27: Full Day on Campus

  • *Family Lunch with President Daniel J. Allen, Ph.D.: Join us for lunch from 12:15-1:30 p.m. in the Union Ballroom (FREE)
    • 91Ö±²¥: Garden salad, pasta salad, mac & cheese, hamburgers, vegetarian burgers, grilled chicken, and more.
  • Alumni Baseball Game: Cheer on the Explorers at 2 p.m. at Hank DeVincent Field (FREE)Ìý
  • Mass: Center your weekend with a service in the De La 91Ö±²¥ Chapel at 4 p.m.ÌýÌý
  • *Late Night La 91Ö±²¥ Bingo: Play for a chance to win great prizes from 8-10 p.m. in the La 91Ö±²¥ Union Ballroom. (FREE)

Sunday, September 28: Sports Sunday

  • Women’s Rugby Game: La 91Ö±²¥â€™s newest athletic team battles Temple University at 11 a.m. at Hank DeVincent Field (FREE)Ìý
  • Women’s Soccer Game: Catch the team in action at 1 p.m. against George Mason University at McCarthy Stadium (FREE)Ìý
  • Women’s Field Hockey: Cheer on the Explorers against Bryant University at (on the UPenn campus) at 1 p.m. (FREE)Ìý
