Meet the Faculty

La 91Ö±²„’s Nursing program educates professionals prepared as leaders in practice, service, scholarship, and education—contributing to the advancement of the health and well-being of communities.

Career Opportunities

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics states that, on average, nurse practitioners earn around $118,000 a year.

Students with this degree pursue careers in a variety of settings, including:

  • Internal medicine offices
  • Community clinics
  • Long-term care facilities
  • Specialty clinics
  • University student health centers
  • Rehab centers
  • Ambulatory care centers
  • Home care
  • Private practice

Accreditation

La 91Ö±²„’s BSN, MSN, DNP and APRN post-master’s certificate programs are fully accredited by theĀ Ģż(°ä°ä±··”).

One thing that really sets La 91Ö±²„’s program aside from other schools is that they place students at clinical sites (while also offering students the option of finding their own clinical sites if that is what they prefer). Since clinical sites are hard to secure andĀ very competitive, this was a huge factor in my decision to go to La 91Ö±²„ when weighing my options for graduate school. In addition to beginning board prep very early, La 91Ö±²„ has provided me with great clinical experiences, and I am confident that I will be both board and practice ready by the time I graduate from La 91Ö±²„’s FNP program.
