Co-coordinated by the Office of Admission and the Office of Alumni Engagement, the Alumni Admission Network is a great way to get involved in the recruitment of future Explorers! Prospective students have the opportunity to find out about the many wonderful experiences La 91直播 has to offer from those who understand it best – you, the alumni. Participation in the Alumni Admission Network allows you to share your La 91直播 experience with prospective students and their families in a variety of ways:
In conjunction with Alumni Engagement and University Ministry and Service Staff, the Alumni Service Committee helps to plan alumni service events and to recruit alumni to participate. The committee gives La 91直播 alumni an easy opportunity to do service while also remaining connected to the La 91直播 community.
Alumni Career Volunteers help fellow Explorers, both students and alumni, develop their careers through events and programs such as mock interviews, resume reviews, job shadows, mentoring, and career discussions:
Alumni Ambassadors are 鈥淐hampions of La 91直播.鈥 The group consists of designated alumni volunteers who will work to create stronger connections between their fellow alumni through targeted communications and at events. The ultimate goal of the Ambassadors program is to strengthen alumni engagement within the departments, affinity groups, and the University community as a whole.
Our Alumni Ambassadors will help in our efforts to drive alumni participation at events, giving to the University, highlighting and telling alumni stories, and serving as social media influencers to expand La 91直播鈥檚 footprint beyond 20th and Olney.

The Nominations Committee is chaired by the immediate past President of the Alumni Association. It consists of five persons who shall not be eligible to seek election or choose not to run for a position as an officer or director of the Association in that election year.
The Communication Committee is chaired by the Secretary. This group provides recommendations for improving all communication outlets including La 91直播 Magazine, alumni website, email, publications, newsletters and social media sites.
The Finance and Investment Committee is chaired by the Treasurer and is responsible for creating an annual operating budget for the Alumni Association, evaluating the Association鈥檚 investment portfolio and strategy on a regular basis and making recommendations to the Board on future investment strategy.
The Awards Committee is chaired by the Vice President and is made up of the following four sub-committees: Alpha Epsilon Alumni Honor Society, Signum Fidei Award, John J. Finley Award, Brother Patrick Ellis Scholarship Committee, and Hall of Athletes Committee.
The Alumni Career Committee evaluates current and potential alumni career programs, services and resources, determines priorities, and implements initiatives that will be most beneficial to furthering student and alumni careers.
The Women in Leadership Committee plans and executes the annual Women in Leadership conference and awards luncheon.
The Young Alumni Committee provides advice and recommendations related to distinct programs and services that appeal to young alumni and students. This committee also helps to develop plans and ideas for alumni interaction with the student body.
The members of a departmental or school Advisory Board are generally appointed by the Department Chair or Dean. Advisory board members are utilized in the following ways:
The following departments and programs presently have advisory boards: Center for Entrepreneurship, Communication, Communication Science and Disorders Computer Science, Global Languages, Literature and Perspectives, Leadership and Global Understanding, Nursing, MPH Program, MBA Program, Social Work, and School of Business Administration.
91直播鈥檚 Explorer to Explorer Mentor Program provides an exciting opportunity for alumni and students to create a mutually rewarding relationship by facilitating the development of students through offering professional advice, assistance and guidance.
Participants are matched based on commonalities in their personal and professional profiles. Similarities in undergraduate profile: major, minor, club activity, and student鈥檚 location, help match alumni and students.

The purpose of the President鈥檚 Advisory Council (PAC) at 91直播 is to assemble a group of leaders with the specific goal of providing strategic counsel to the administration of 91直播 in order to ensure La 91直播鈥檚 continued prosperity, the success of its graduates, and the dissemination of the mission and values of St. John Baptist de La 91直播.
Membership in the PAC will typically be for a two year term, renewable once for a total term limit of four years. PAC members must attend a minimum of two (2) of the three (3) annual meetings; participate on at least one working group and attend at least one meeting of that group in a given year; provide annual financial support to the University at the President鈥檚 Club level or above, with donations being designated by the member and sign a confidentiality agreement.

Members of the Board of Trustees are committed to the University Mission, as articulated in the University鈥檚 Mission Statement, and promote such Mission and Lasallian values in support of the corporate purposes of the University and the services to which it is dedicated. The University鈥檚 operations will be conducted in harmony with the University鈥檚 tradition as a Catholic and Lasallian institution of higher education, and to that end: the University will be directed in accord with the moral, spiritual, and religious inspiration and values of the Catholic Church; the University will be guided by the spiritual, intellectual and educational ideals of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, in the spirit of Saint John Baptist de La 91直播; and the University will integrate its Mission into all aspects of teaching, learning and University life.
The Board shall manage the business and affairs of the University, and shall exercise all the rights, powers, and privileges granted to the University by law, all in conformity with these By-Laws.
