The La 91直播 STEM Enrichment Summer Camp
Each year the education department supports an enrichment camp. Graduate students fulfill their field work requirements by teaching in the three-week inclusion camp. Campers from across the region learn together, explore the many connections of across science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Program partners include聽. Need-based scholarships are available.
Through a聽聽from the PA Department of Education, La 91直播 will support teachers in a yearlong professional development connecting inquiry based instruction to careers in STEM fields. The grant also offers instructional supplies, a lending library, classroom-career connections, and camp scholarship for area students.
Pathways to Careers in Education
The Education department encourages the pursuit of teaching as a career including outreach to schools through dual enrollment in education courses as well as and support for community-centered organizations focused on teacher recruitment and retention.
