91Ö±²¥ recognizes the work and time college requires and the challenges students may face along the way. For students who have paused their college journey, La 91Ö±²¥ provides support when they are ready to return. Students often only need to complete a few courses to earn an associate degree, putting them on the path to growing their career and reaching their goals.
Through Credits to Credentials (C2C), former students who completed substantial coursework but did not earn a credential are invited to return to complete an associate degree. Eligible students will receive a defined part-time roadmap toward completing requirements and individualized advising along the way.

Earning an associate degree:
Yes. This is an official initiative of 91Ö±²¥, ledÌýthrough La 91Ö±²¥â€™sÌýCampos School.ÌýWe areÌýcommittedÌýto supporting degree completion.ÌýYou are welcome to verify this outreach by contactingÌýthe Campos SchoolÌýdirectly using the phone number or email address listed on the University’s official website. The University will never request sensitive personal information by email.Ìý
Through our newly founded Campos School, we now have associate degree options that were not available at the time you were a student here. In view of this, the University recently conducted a review of academic records for former students who completed substantial coursework but did not earn a credential.
This review identified students who are close to completing and students who have already completed the requirements for an associate degree.
C2C is designed for students who have been away from the University for at least three years and who stopped out no earlier than Fall 2018Ìý– the semester our current Core curriculum wasÌýintroduced.ÌýIfÌýyou’reÌýinterested in coming back butÌýdon’tÌýmeet these criteria, pleaseÌýdon’tÌýhesitate to reach out—we’dÌýbe glad to review your transcript and discuss the options available to you.Ìý
Students who receivedÌýnotification that theyÌýare just a few courses shy of an associate degreeÌýmayÌýÌýtoÌýreview their academic recordÌýandÌýcreate aÌýplan toÌýenroll inÌýthe remaining course requirements.ÌýÌýÌýÌý
Students who received notification that they have completed requirements for an associate degree do notÌýneed to enroll inÌýadditionalÌýcourses. These studentsÌýshouldÌýÌýof their intent to earn theÌýdegree.ÌýÌý
Yes. Students who need to enroll in additional courses to earn their associate degree pay the adult/evening per credit hour rate. Tuition is charged only for the remaining required courses. Students completing their associate degree may be eligible for financial aid.
Students who received notification they completed requirements for an associate degree will pay a nominal administration processing fee of $100 to cover the cost of transcript review, verification, and degree conferral.
No. There is no obligation to continue beyond the associate degree. However, students who receive an associate degree through this initiative are welcome toÌýexplore bachelor’s degree optionsÌýif they choose and would be eligible to receive merit scholarships for that degree at La 91Ö±²¥.ÌýÌý
Yes! If you follow the process to have the degree conferred and apply for graduation, you will be invited toÌýparticipateÌýin the next scheduled commencement ceremony at La 91Ö±²¥.ÌýÌý
