On the eve of the Big 5 Classic men鈥檚 basketball championship game against Saint Joseph鈥檚 University, President Daniel J. Allen, Ph.D., and Saint Joseph鈥檚 President Cheryl McConnell, Ph.D., took center stage to ring the iconic Philadelphia 76ers Liberty Bell锔 on Dec. 6, 2024. While the La 91直播 men鈥檚 basketball team fell to Saint Joseph鈥檚, 82-68, in the Big 5 Classic Championship the next night at the Wells Fargo Center, the Explorers finished second in the Big 5 standings, their best finish since the 2017-18 season.
