91直播 is committed to protecting the privacy of our university community members and guests. This privacy notice outlines how 91直播 collects, uses, and protects personal information in relation to SMS (Short Message Service) and MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) text messaging. 

SMS Privacy Policy 

91直播 does not share your information (e.g., cell phone) with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. 

How We Collect Information 

We collect personal information through the following methods: 

Direct Collection 

Information you provide when responding to text messages, including:聽

• Opt-out preferences聽

• Content of your text message responses聽

91直播 Systems 

We import personal information from La 91直播 systems and sources (e.g., Banner). The information includes: 

• Name and phone number聽

Automated Collection 

Metadata from SMS/MMS platforms (e.g., Zoom) 

• Device availability, carrier, delivery status, error codes聽

How We Use This Information 

91直播 uses collected information, including through SMS/MMS, to support its operations, deliver services, and maintain engagement with students, employees, and external parties. This includes: 

• Communicating academic deadlines, registration updates, appointments, and emergency alerts聽

• Providing academic, administrative, and research-related information聽

• Supporting recruitment, admissions, alumni relations, and fundraising聽

• Promoting university events, programs, and outreach activities聽

• Facilitating internal communication and coordination among employees聽

91直播 may also use your information as necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, contractual obligations, and court or administrative orders.  

Consent to Receive Messages 

91直播 only sends SMS/MMS messages to recipients who have provided explicit consent. Consent may be collected through: 

• University webforms with opt-in checkboxes聽

• Verbal consent during official interactions聽

• Written opt-in forms聽

• Email links leading to SMS sign-up pages聽

• Inbound SMS initiated by users聽

• Social media campaigns with clear opt-in steps聽

Emergency Messages 

In situations involving the health and safety of the University community, the University may send automated texts to mobile phone numbers without prior consent. 

SMS/MMS Disclosure 

Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile operator for details on receiving SMS/MMS messages. 

Opt-Out and Support 

You can opt-out of routine (i.e., non-emergency) messages at any time by replying with STOP. To re-subscribe, reply with START. For assistance, reply HELP or contact the IT Help Desk at helpdesk@lasalle.edu, call 215-951-1860, or visit /helpdesk 

Data Sharing and Protection 

No mobile information, including phone numbers, will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories also exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. 

10DLC Compliance 

This privacy notice supports 91直播鈥檚 compliance with 10DLC SMS messaging regulations required by U.S. mobile carriers for business-to-consumer communications. 

Changes to This Notice 

This privacy notice may be updated from time to time. We will post the date our notice was last updated at the top of this privacy notice.
